The LCD ships with a factory-installed hurricane-rated sill option tested to ASTM E1886/E1996 Large Missile Impact standards, making it the specification-grade choice for coastal and hurricane-exposure projects from Malibu to Miami. Available in all-aluminum or thermal-strut configurations to meet local energy codes, the dual Low-E IGU with argon fill achieves a NFRC U-factor of 0.24 with SHGC options from 0.20 to 0.55 for precise solar control in warm climates.
